John Thrasher (Republican) did NOT even contact the local school superintendent!
The Superintendent of St. John's County, Joe Joyner, seems to be politely saying that he is against this bill which attacks teachers as it is written. Other Board Members and parents echo his concern. Thrasher did not campaign on the issue, but he suddenly decided to single handedly assault all Florida teachers.

Send this article to as many people as you know and post it elsewhere on the Internet!

1. Thrasher consulting with educators....
...would have been like the U.S. and Britain consulting with Iraq prior to the bombing about how Iraq would like their shock and awe. To the Florida Republicans, we are the enemy.

are nothing but a bunch of liars!

Joyner is our superintendent, he's done the best he can w/what's been thrown at him with budget cuts. It's been painful for everyone, that's for sure.
