1. I received a robocall this morning.

Asking me to vote for Aronburg for AG. I might just do that since he's the only one to bother to ask
for my vote. I've been a registered Dem for 45+ years. No reason for any candidate to overlook me.

2. Saw the ad for him. It hit all my progressive spots and he
didn't mention family values, so I felt good about him. Like progressives have no family values! Pfah!!

3. Dan Gelber is my State Senator
He was elected in 2008, and almost immediately after that he began running for the US Senate. When it became apparent that he couldn't beat Kendrick Meek, he then started running for Attorney General. It seems that he has little desire to do the job he was elected to less than two years ago.

I am voting for Aronberg.

4. (R) Pam Bondi has been endorsed by the half wit half-Governor.

Bondi says she was "proud" and "honored" to receive Failin's endorsement.

That's all I need to know about Bondi.

5. I had no idea who she was
Why would Ms Quitter endorse someone who isn't even interested in running for the office??

At my station we're getting ads for Gelber and Aronberg on the Democratic side and Kottkamp and Benson on the Repuke side. Benson even added more money. But nothing from Bondi. Whatever. Either Gelber or Aronberg are gonna win. They are the not at all icky!!!

What you need to hear begin about 2 minutes into the video clip.

I am supporting Dan Gelber. The Pensacola News Journal said he may be the most qualified for office of all statewide candidates for any office.

7. Aronberg
I was leaning towards him initially. I mean, not that it should matter, but he's easy on the eyes. :D Anyway, I've heard him speak and I candidates who can give a rousing speech. I met both of them, and they seemed like nice gentleman, but Aronberg a little more "reachable." However, I was impressed by Gelber's experience, so I started to reconsider. Then I started getting all these nasty mailers from Gelber attacking Aronberg. Any one who attacks their primary opponent like that and risks damaging them for the general doesn't deserve my vote.

8. It is Aronberg running the nasty teevee ads. Have received no mailers from either candidate.

10. Jeff Greene is pushing for Aronberg. Birds of a feather, as Aronberg also has Republican ties.
From John Frank at Tampa Bay's The Buzz:

August 11, 2010

U.S. Senate candidate Jeff Greene is telling fellow Democrats to support Dave Aronberg in the tight primary for state attorney general.

Greene is distributing this voting guide in the Democratic central Century Village of Palm Beach County, a key battleground in Aronberg's race against Miami Beach state Sen. Dan Gelber.

Greene hasn't made an official endorsement of Aronberg, a state senator whose district includes parts of Palm Beach County. But this palm card is close enough.

For Gelber's camp, it fits the growing narrative. Greene, who made a bid in California for Congress as a Republican, is joining forces with Aronberg, who is under fire for ties to a 527 political group linked to a Republican.

Gelber's campaign held a conference call Wednesday featuring Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a top supporter, who said she is "disturbed and disappointed in Dave Aronberg."

In the call, Gelber asked Aronberg to disarm by ending the use of 527s, which allow unlimited contributions. A political committee tied to Aronberg, Florida Mainstream Democrats, gave more than $180,000 to Voters Response, a 527 that is airing TV ads promoting Aronberg and attacking Gelber.

Gelber, too, has a 527 political committee. His is called Common Sense. Gelber, who blasts the influence of special interest money in campaigns, said he is not worried about looking hypocritical now that he is playing the game he despises. "I hate them," he said. "I would never use one. ... But I can't unilaterally disarm."

Gelber said he has no reaction to the idea that Greene is supporting Aronberg.
