McCollum bragging today about his 'grassroots' campaign. Now that's rich!
McCollum wouldn't predict victory, but he said Rick Scott's unprecedented TV advertising barrage failed. "He's thrown up $50 million. We've sustained that, and we've overcome that," he said.

"This has been a grass-roots campaign. It's the strongest grass-roots campaign I've been involved with since the very first one I ran," McCollum said.

1. He's whistling past the graveyard.

I'd bet he's scared to death. Probably hasn't had a decent night's sleep or enjoyed a good meal in weeks.

And if he should win ... the worst is yet to come when he goes up against Alex.

2. I hope he wins. Then Sink/Smith can run a 'throw the Republican bums out of Tallahassee campaign.'
Scott can, of course, run as an 'outsider' and with apparently unlimited funds. Wonder what the Chamber of Commerce and their bidness pals would do then--after spending millions to put their 'good 'ol boy McCollum' in the governor's mansion.

3. it is sounding like we will find out
Bill McCollum is a bad bet for almost any statewide race that people pay attention to. I have known dead fish that had more charisma than McCollum.
