If not, I encourage you to do so. 1.5 million Floridians petitioned to get the Fair Districts Amendments on the ballots. Over 4,000 fans are on the FDF FB page. Fair Districts will stop the political manipulation of the voters by gerrymandering districts. This is a good thing for ALL Floridians. The Republicans, headed by Dean Cannon, John Thrasher, and Mike Haridopolos, all hate amendments 5 and 6 because it will weaken their power to control the people.

If you want to piss off a pol, vote yes on 5 and 6. Join the Facebook page today!

1. done. It pisses me off that they make ridiculous districts that create zones of perpetual
party.. and don't make sense in addressing the needs of those within the communities in the zones. Mine has coastal to rural area to create the district. The communities are different with different needs. It makes the politician worse for helping with the direct needs.. yet the politician is always elected in due to the registered voters (which is why the rural area is added into the mix near the coastal community).

And the guy does nothing for nobody. He's so ineffective. Seat holder who doesn't care... just took over his daddy's seat.

2. Thanks. Please talk about this in a very neutral, bipartisan way with friends. This DOES help

all Floridians. Gerrymandering is not what our Founding Fathers would have wanted. However, this will help Dems become more competitive. Republicans won't want to hear that, but that is actually to their advantage as well. Their party is starting to get corrupt in this state because they've had too much power. A competitive Dem party will make their party better. The Fair Districts Florida group is very bipartisan. 1.5 million people who signed petitions could not have been all Democrats.
