LePore Loses Re-Election Bid

Written By : Lauren Smith
September 1, 2004 - 7:28AM

Palm Beach County Elections Supervisor Theresa LePore lost her re-election bid.
With all precincts reporting, challenger Arthur Anderson had 52 percent, while LePore had 48 percent.
Despite the loss, LePore will remain in office until January 3rd and will oversee the November election in the county.
LePore was said to be the inventor of the butterfly ballot that became a national joke during the 2000 presidential recount.

1. This is GOOD! To bad she can't be replaced IMMEDIATELY!
As a very famous American President once said, "You can fool all of the people some of the time. You can fool some of the people all of the time. But you can't fool all of the people all of the time." (Abraham Lincoln)

I am very happy to hear that Theresa LaPore just got proof of that.

for this years probable debacle. The thing that makes me even more suspicious are these reports of everything "going smoothly" put us at ease for the primary and then pull the SOS for the general. You think I trust these people? Not for one second-I LIVED through what they did down here to PB county and to ME(I was taken off the registry-not allowed to vote)
