http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/news/nation/9736957.htmHoping to snag a ticket to next week's presidential debate at the University of Miami? Don't count on it.
. . . .
The reason: No tickets have been distributed yet -- and they likely won't be until a day or two before the debate, the first between Sen. John Kerry and President Bush, scheduled for Sept. 30 at UM's Convocation Center.
''Tickets is my least favorite word in the English language,'' sighed Janet Brown, head of the Commission on Presidential Debates. ``I don't have a clue how many tickets will be available -- or when.''
The university, Republicans and Democrats are expecting to get allotments of tickets, and each group has plenty of top supporters waiting for them.
