Took an hour for my husband to vote in Avondale Estates

Took an hour for my husband to vote in Avondale Estates
this morning. He got there right when the polls opened and, despite having a ton of machines, he had to wait an hour to vote! I had to teach a class this morning and will be going after the lunch during the "afternoon lull" while our kiddo is still at nursery school.

Hubby is a moderate conservative who likes to call himself independent, but he voted for Kerry. Of course, he told me not to think this meant he was becoming a Democrat. Whatever, at least he did the right thing!!!

I oughta be grading papers, but I can't stay away from the DU!!!

1. Don't count on a lull.
Looks like it's going to busy all day. Voting is a must this time, for a lot of people.

A shame since I had some good trashy novels with me and I nice 3 hour block of time, LOL!

Nonetheless, you are right about not counting on a lull. I made sure I had plenty of time!

I didn't realize that we finally have an AAR affiliate in Atlanta. I've been listening to it streaming.

Now I can't wait to go out to my car and program it in as my number one AM station.
