Progressive Pages- Need your feedback!

I just visited DancingBear's thread about wanting to come up with a directory of Repuke businesses to boycott and provide decent progressive alternatives for folks.

I'd like to help any way I can to compile this book.

Here's what I need from ya'll:

Give me the names and approximate locations of any local 'GA businesses you saw the last year or so with Bush/Cheney signs outside, behind the counters or in windows. Any "I support President Bush and our troops?" or anything equivalent?

Alternately, provide the names and approximate addresses of progressive or Democratic owned or Democratic-supporting businesses you can recommend instead.

Let us know about good AND bad experiences you've had patronizing good or bad businesses all over the state!

At how infrequently DUers go outside of particular forums, and don't look at the 'latest posts' page.

Even the mods here post multiples to get everyone's attention at times.

i know you are working regional, but where in the world can we pull this together?
I was in the middle of adding old thread links to the new ones on a repub boycott, but w/ resourses on where to shop progressive supporting companies. i want to start a massive Xmas repug boycott and am trying to cut and paste as many resources in one place as possible. I am adding yours there (thank you) and will post a link to those with links that could help you! don't forget the big companies give bigger chunck of dough and get bigger policy results.. the local angle is great too, but i think we need a comprhensive approach - more than just the starve the beast --- boycott only mindset. We need to spend sometimes, and when we do we need to know who to support.

That's why we're going to try to provide folks progressive alternatives if and where we can to shopping at Repug businesses. Handmade crafts, farmers markets, and quirky local shops are ALWAYS recommended over box stores.

HOW EXACTLY DO YOU GET THE CORRECT ADDRES TO A THREAD... I WAS CUTTING AND PASTING. SHIT. I HAD SOME GOOD THREADS FOR YOU....

then go to the "Address" field at the top of your browser.

Copy that address, then paste it into your post.
