Barrow and Gingrey

These are the two people that are most vulnerable come 2006.

We will need to circle the DNC wagons around Barrow, but do you think the right type of Dem could take out Gingrey

1. We really need to support John Barrow.

I know John. He's my congressman (and former Athen-Clarke County commissioner) He is a very smart guy from a long-time Athens, GA political family. His dad was Judge Barrow. His Mom, Phyllis, is a stalwart of the Democratic Party. John went to Harvard Law School. He ran a smart campaign. (Thank god that Max Burns is gone.)
John needs all of our help here in Georgia as well as the help of all other Democrats to win again in 2006. If the social security issue blows up on the Republicans it will really help John. His district is full of the elderly, poor and disabled.

2. Gingrey is probably safe.

as long as he wants the job. It is a very Republican district and getting moreso by the day.
