I am so sick and tired of these mental midgets falling back on the "it's a theory, not a fact" argument. When someone says they have a theory about something, unless it's backed up by research and experimentation and other people have verified your results, you don't have a damn theory. You have a hypothesis. Theory essentially equals fact in the scientific world. Other theories cover such things like how things thrown in the air always come back down and that the Earth goes around the Sun.

Science classes should be teaching the fundamental principles that actual scientists use to do their work. Biological sciences USE evolution - not just for filling in gaps in species development but also for creating cutting-edge treatments in genetic research. No serious scientist looks at a dinosaur fossil in the hopes of figuring on which of the six days God worked manufacturing the universe it was created on.

thing for the students of Cobb county. What is NOT a great thing is how much school board money (tax-payer's money) was wasted on this case and any appeals. Shameful Cobb County.
