Invitation for all Georgia Dems 9/1/04

On the night ole ZigZag is giving his speech at the rnc convention, there will be a very large group gathering at an event called "Zell Doesn't Speak for Us."

Here are the details. If you can get there, please come out and support this effort. There will be media there to cover this event.

Zell Miller (D-GA.) plans to betray his party and all of us who elected him to office by endorsing Bush/Cheney at the Republican National Convention.
When: Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2004 from 6:30 - Late???
Where: The Park Tavern* (corner of Monroe & 10th) at Piedmont Park in midtown Atlanta. (* Due to restaurant restrictions, no outside banners or signs will be permitted at this event.)
How: www.KerryWinGeorgia.org invites you to a night of political fun with great live entertainment, speakers, food, and drink, and a "special response" to Zell's appearance in New York City at the Republican National Convention when he endorses the Bush/Cheney ticket.
There is no cover charge for this event.

You guys find a way to kick that old meathead to the curb. I surely do. I mean really kick him to the curb in an unambiguous way.

We've said every nasty thing to him and about him, and thought even worse. I don't know what Zells problem is. He's toast in Ga. and apparently doesn't care about what history says about him (which is really unusual for a politician).

I wrote on another thread in the General Discussion, that I hope Zell gets booed at the RNC Convention. After reading Bill Shipp's column in the Gainesville Times yesterday, it sounds like he might.
