A new date has been suggested for a GA DU get together.

Just wanted to be sure everyone saw this....


Last month RubyDuby in GA suggested a DU get-together. There seemed to be interest but too many conflicts.

This is traditionally when we usually get together - around the end of the month in February.

Time and place are up for grabs.

We'll be inbound from a birthday party, so he should be either asleep or hopped up on cake. :scared:

I haven't heard much from anyone lately - I've seen Cat around a couple of times on the boards.

I think we might want to start early in the afternoon/evening so that we can take the little ones out and those with actual social lives can linger on and drink like we used to... :cry:

We could probably be there by 6 or 6:30. And yes, I feel you with the :cry:

Doesn't CatWoman live in their neighborhood? Maybe she can contact them.

Sorry I've not responded sooner. I've been deathly ill wiuth a horrible cold.

Hope you get better soon. I know a lot of people who can't seem to get better because the weather is 70 degrees one day and 30 the next. I suggest hot toddies. Even if you don't get better, you'll be too drunk to care. :o

Thanks for the hot toddy suggestion! I have been absolutely miserable. My head is a snot factory. Who knew one could produce so much mucous? I am walking around with cold medicines, bottles of hand sanitizer, Kleenex with lotion, medicated vaseline for my poor nose, and Clorox disifecting wipes for any thing that I touch here at the office. Oy! I haven't had a cold like this in years! I rarely get sick, but when I do, I really get sick. The weather doesn't help much. Georgia winters are so unpredictable.

I bought a new (to me) (used) car yesterday. It will be a safer (air bags) ride to Atlanta than my current little Toyota commuter car.

My teenager (aka babysitter) has a party on the 23rd. March 8th is the hubby's birthday - sure he would love to spend it getting together with other DUers.
