Uga VI has passed away
Caution, if you mock this story, I will hunt you dont and hurt you.

The University of Georgia's beloved and Churchillian English bulldog mascot Uga VI died peacefully Friday night in Savannah of congestive heart failure after serving nine years on the Bulldog sidelines as the school's winningest mascot.

During his reign as mascot, the UGA football team compiled a record of 87 wins and 27 losses, captured the 2002 and 2005 Southeastern Conference championships, and won six of eight bowl games, surpassing Uga IV's record of 77-24-4.

2. He was a damn good dog. This Georgia Bulldog graduate will miss him.
He was buried at Sanford Stadium yesterday next to Ugas I-V.
The pictures are on the front page of today's Athens-Banner Herald.
(I used to own an English Bulldog so the Ugas have a special place in my heart!)

Sonny Seiler, owner of Uga VI, visits the bulldog's crate after a private service Monday at Sanford Stadium. Uga VI, who had represented the University of Georgia as its mascot since 1999, died Friday of congestive heart failure.

3. this one saddened me too...
He was a good dog, despite his affiliation with UGa. My English bully, Luther, died a few days before, on Tuesday morning, June 24, and I am still missing him big time.
