1. Just Received from GFADP!:
http://www.gfadp.org/Portals/0/Troy_Davis_Poster_wBJ.pdf

for a poster for details on the events taking place this weekend in Savannah for the Week of Witness for Troy Davis, sponsored by Amnesty Intl and NAACP. Events include a rally on Saturday morning, a community meeting on Sunday evening, and of course canvassing Savannah all weekend (details in the link). Hope you can make it out to show your support for Troy Davis!

As you know, the Supreme Court is expected to decide if they will hear Troy's case on June 25th, so we need to maintain the high visibility for this case. If the Supreme Court decides not to hear the case, all of our attention will shift to Larry Chisolm, Chatham County District Attorney, to persuade him to intervene in the case. One important component to that is media attention, and lately Troy's case has generated tons of it! Along with recent op-eds in the NY Times and LA Times, Newsweek just published this fantastic article yesterday

Thanks again, hope to see you this weekend in Savannah!

With Hope,
