Today, the higher-ups in higher ed met to decide how to cut $1.8 million from the univ.system budget

They were trying to decide what positions and programs to cut. It is becoming clear that there is no love lost between the state legislature and the Board of Regents, and I am wondering if the university system will ultimately be dismantled piece by piece. I would write to my representatives, but I really don't see much point.

is a waste, we will remain in this bad place.
