Air America is on in the islands!
well, Maui, O'ahu and Kaua'i, anyway...

LIBERAL talk radio network Air America Radio and its front man Al Franken debuted yesterday afternoon on KUMU-AM 1500 in Honolulu, KAOI-AM 1110 on Maui and KQNG-AM 570 on Kauai.

KUMU will air two Air America shows on weekdays, running Franken's "The O'Franken Factor" in the morning from 6 to 9 a.m. and repeating it from 5 to 8 p.m., to be followed by Randi Rhodes' show from 8 to 11 p.m.

How about that? I get to go to bed with Randi... :loveya: beats the heck out of George Noory! :-)

I really don't understand why I can hear all of these jurk stations coming in loud and clear.

We want Air America back asap.

2. I think you can get KAOI (from Maui) on the Kona side
of the Big Island as well.

Have never been a fan of talk radio...too many Rush types...I save the radio for music.

Would like to listen to Al Franken, though.
