First female soldier from Idaho to die in Combat Action..

I'm guessing this made statewide news in Idaho (?) but it's a shame it wasn't a national story. The main-stream-media (MSM) is far too busy bashing Howard Dean for insulting ReTHUGS. (Although if you listen to his explanation, it wasn't much of an insult)

Makes you wonder why MSM ignored the VP when he told a senator to F&^% off, doesn't it? :shrug:

In any event, prayers to the friends and family of Carrie England, 19 years old of Caldwell, ID ~~ :cry: :cry:

This was posted last night but deserves a repost. See at www.Idahostatesman.com She was an ex cheerleader and described as warm-hearted and fun-loving. Her hometown is less than 30 miles from me so I will attend her funeral. Bush's war is not just killing our boys, it's also killing our girls. Her picture did make the front page news.

Wow.. she was so beautiful.. :-( I didn't think to look in the Statesman.. I read that paper a LOT during hockey season when our Aces are playing the Idaho Steelheads. ;)

It's a good paper.. I still remember the great endorsement they wrote up for Kerry this past fall, which pretty much blew everyone away :o .. Then again, our paper in Anchorage also endorsed Kerry/Edwards..

I'll bet anything Idahoans will pull together to help her family at this time! :grouphug:
