Harry Reid to speak in Pocatello January 11

I am surprised no one has posted about this. Perhaps the news hasn't spread like it should. Anyways, Harry Reid will speak at the Richard Stallings banquet on January 11 at Idaho State University. If you want to go to the dinner, a ticket is $65. If you want to go to the dinner and a party thing before (or after???), a ticket is $150.

Personally and unfortunately, the tickets are expensive and are twice as much as what I paid to see Reid in Salt Lake City in May. However, they will only have seating for under 500, so it is a good opportunity to get up close to Reid and maybe shake his hand.

There will also be hospitality suites for different candidates, so it would be a good chance to make the rounds and meet some of the candidates running.

Invites are going out, but outside of the Bannock area, there aren't as many invites going out and they are primarily going out to the big donors/rich. However, that doesn't mean you can't go. If you really want a ticket or tickets, pm me and I can help. I am on the committee to organize the event and can reserve tickets for you if you contact me in advance.

I will always remember Howrd Dean visiting Boise last summer. He spoke at noon in the city park. I would never have had a chance to see him otherwise. What he did then, visiting this red fly over town was such a surprise to me. I can never think of him as other than a sincere man now.
