"McCain slams `posturing' Obama"
Folks, coming from the guy who HUGGED Bush after a bitter primary campaign in 2000 where Bush was lying about McCain, McCain now accuses Obama of "self-interested partisan posturing"

McCain slams `posturing' Obama
Letter's harsh tone stuns Illinois senator

By Jeff Zeleny
Washington Bureau
Published February 7, 2006

"I understand how important the opportunity to lead your party's effort to exploit this issue must seem to a freshman senator and I hold no hard feelings over your earlier disingenuousness," McCain wrote. "I have been around long enough to appreciate that in politics the public interest isn't always a priority for every one of us."

Last Wednesday, a group of seven Republicans and three Democrats met in McCain's office to work through proposed lobbying reforms. One day later, Obama sent a letter thanking McCain for his efforts, but suggested that "creating a task force to further study and discuss these matters" would cause an undue delay and said the Democratic plan seemed the best approach.

It was that letter, aides said, that infuriated McCain. When he returned from a weekend conference in Germany, he fired off a letter to Obama in which he accused him of "self-interested partisan posturing."

Obama and other Democrats support a version of legislation, the "Honest Leadership Act," which calls for similar disclosure rules as well as banning gifts, meals and subsidized flights from lobbyists.

He's just a water-boy for Bushco. What a hypocrite accusing Obama of "self-interested partisan posturing".

Take a look a mirror Mr. McCain...

2. You know what else? I don't like the way the Trib did this headline
You know, they makes it sound like McCain is right and Obama is wrong until you read the story.
