2. planning to be there, but
kind of worried that the line will be around the block at 6 am. if it is hot out, and the wait looks interminable, i may throw in the towel.

5. It was great!
Borders limited the number of people to about 1000 - I was able to get there early enough in the am to get into the first group. Despite what we were told by Borders, Gore did speak for about 10 minutes prior to signing books so it was worth it to be in the first group as the other groups were lined up on other floors. There was a bit of chanting of 'Run Gore Run' from the crowd during and after his speech and as many of us had stickers, buttons, t-shirts on that said the same thing, I think he knew we wanted him to run in 2008.

I was in the first 100 or so but he still made eye contact and said a very genuine hello to those in front of me and to me... Having to do that for 1000 people would have been exhausting I would imagine.
