As another Democratic candidate for IL state office said to me, she'd like to run for Congress but the party has put a lot of support and money behind Bean. Little they care about who we want in our state. They want Republican like candidates. Bean has betrayed us Democrats yet she gets party endorsements.

doesn't illinois has a sore loser law, that if you lose in the primary, you can't run in the general ??

i did the write-in thing in 2006, might do the same in 2008, no one with her voting record deserves to be relected

unfortunatly, many of the things addressed here: http://tofubo.blogspot.com/2006/10/republic-is-dead-long-live-republic.html, have not been corrected by the current congress, and won't be if we keep sending democratic blue dogs and republican lap dogs back year after year

6. Not Scheurer.

There is a Green running in the Eighth: Iain Abernathy. Not Scheurer, although I'd expect that she's supporting him.
