Help Durbin become min leader by calling Senators on Mon

Call as many Senators as you can and encourage them to back Durbin. The alternative is Reid, who has a history of backing anti-choice, anti-disibility-rights, anti-civil-rights nominees (such as Bybee, Sutton & Goss). Reid also regularly caves to the Bush admin when we most need support from our senators. He's part of the reason we don't have a national paper-trail

I'm not from Ill. But you guys are lucky to have Durbin. He has one of the best senators we've got and he's under consideration for the leadership. But we need him to have the top spot if he is to fillibuster torture-proponent Gonzales and to stop Bush from stacking the court.

Also, contact other groups and tell them to back Durbin by calling Senators on Monday.

he is easily, and often, charismatic, passionate, and humerous; everything Daschle was sadly not.

and he's from the Democratic wing of the Democratic party.
