<SNIP>
Sgt. Mark Gibson signed the affidavit in 2003. The affidavit stated that about 1982 or 1983 he and his partner were dispatched to Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center because a woman wanted to "clear her conscience."
She told the officers that when she was younger she was with friends at a state park when something happened. She didn't use the name of the park but indicated it was south and mentioned Utica specifically. She indicated things "got out of hand," and "they dragged bodies."
During the confession, the woman's daughters arrived. They shouted at the police to leave and said their mother was "out of her mind."
