Chicago Sun-Times: Aurora man killed on copter joined up after Sept. 11th

"A few candles cast small shadows on the front porch of an Aurora house Thursday.

Every few minutes, a friend or family member walked through the door to offer condolences after the stream of reporters and TV crews had tapered off.

Nancy Ramos sat in the middle of it all, crying and clutching a few remembrances of her son -- a letter he sent, a stuffed animal he gave her and a plaque he'd earned.

"My God, my God,'' she wailed in Spanish. "I want to talk to him. I need my son.''"
