Anyone know what happened in Lincoln Square Sunday?

We were walking down Lincoln just south of the el tracks (near Leland) and there were police cars everywhere. We saw a camera guy and thought it was actually a movie filming. It even had all the unmarked cars jauntily parked the wrong way on a one-way street like you see on crime shows. But the more we looked the more we thought perhaps it was real. There were cops coming out of a building just north of the Davis Theater with forensics bags. Anyone see anything on the news?

I actually have seen that guy a bunch of times around the neighborhood, and knew he was an opera singer. That's very sad.
