Hoosier who advocates disciplining with "the rod"
Here's a link to another DU thread for those of you who haven't already seen it...

It's regarding this article that a Hoosier pastor from Winona Lake wrote... http://www.hbcsomerset.net/Familyarticles/correction_an...

It's worth reading, and it's absolutely amazing and sickening.

1. Infants...They "Break their Will" by the 1st Birthday..
Why does this remind me of that story about Dobson and his knock-down, drag-out "fight" with his "willful" DACHSHUND????

Why have diapers beyond 3 months of age? Isn't shitting in your pants another sign of "spine stiffening" that a kid can be "broken" of?

2. Hephzibah House
I can no longer read the article (it has expired from the site), but did the pastor who wrote it have anything to do with Winona Lake's infamous Hephzibah House?

Hephzibah House is a home Baptists parents send their "wayward" girls for "correction."

I could find NOTHING on the web about it, but I remember years ago reading a lot of shocking things about the abuses these nutters put young girls through including beatings, starvation, isolation and humiliation (including forcing them to wear diapers).

What always stuck with me most is that several girls were so physically wrecked from their experiences they could no longer menstruate!

Go Jesus!

PS. Do not even get me started on the "Faith Baptists" whack jobs who deny medical attention to their kids because they expect that, through prayer alone, God will cure them.

HELLO? EXCUSE ME? Did not your GOD create the frigging plants from which we pull the medicines? Did you ever think for a minute that maybe he is a bit too busy (what with keeping "dem faggots" from marrying) to take a PERSONAL hand in curing your kids' diseases, so that he created some smart people (scientists, mostly) who know where to get God's cures for your kids, so that God can get on with some other things he needs to do?
