5. Try this link
www.drinkingliberally.com

I started attending the Tuesday night group occassionally and it is nice to see new pissed off people. My regular group of pissed off liberal friends is great, but it is nice to know there are more.

I am going tonight to the Fishers meetup.

7. Stopped when Meetup started charging a fee
Yep, we had a good bunch, but once the small minded thinkers at meetup.com started charging the organizers a fee, the number of groups dropped dramatically. I'm willing to restart things, but not using the meetup web site. We could post meeting info here, if interested.

8. See my post 6, went to that last night
Met DUer Toey for the first time. Seemed to be a decent group, although not as activist as I would like. I ranted a little & seemed to get them fired up a bit about Cindy. At least no Robert's Rules like at the Indiana Democratic Club.

9. Noticed that too
Most people are pretty reserved compared to me. I am all fired up and they are discussing things calmly. Hard to hold back sometimes.

10. There is a "Drinking Liberally" that meets in Broad Ripple
I've been meaning to go for months & haven't made it. I live on the South side of town & am not particularly fond of going North.

12. I would be very interested in going to one someday,
but, I live in Plainfield and I don't have transportation- we are pedestrians. I don't understand why there isn't decent mass transit around here. :(

14. Plainfield...
The tide seems to be turning around Plainfield. Once a Repig stronghold, I notice a few more lately who are willing to voice opinions about the fearless leader *. I live in Avon, it too is turning because of the gas prices.

15. Got a place to suggest?
Then Ariana Celeste could attend. Maybe she has a place. We used to meet in downtown Indy, but I personally wasn't really impressed with the place. I'm open to suggestions for a place & time.

16. I asked my SO if he could think of
any place around here. The only place we could think of was Hummel Park. So the weather would have to be nice. :)

17. We met in Indy in a neighborhood bar
As neighborhood as you can get in Downtown Indy. Food & drinks seem to help the conversation.

22. What about MacAllister's Deli on Rockville Road?
They have a nice outdoor patio, wide variety of food. Located just east of Country Club Road on Rockville Road, next to Outback.

19. hey, I live in Plainfield!
Plainfield is the "Austin, TX" of Hendricks Co. Speaking of which, this county hasn't elected a democrat in over 30 years! Perhaps the tide is turning? :)

21. Hey, Plainfield - I'm in Speedway...
where we're ruled by a town council of 5 repubs and that jerk Phil Hinkle. We're trying to get someone to run against these bozos. Any Dem organizations in Plainfield or Hendricks County? Sure would be great to connect with more folks "Livin' in the Wild, Wild West!"

24. I would definately be interested
If not too far away. All kinds of places around Plainfield, Avon, Indy west side. I often post a comment to an article in the Hendricks County Paper that comes out twice weekly. But it often doesn't get printed if after they read your relpy they think it might hurt the feelings of one of their crooks who runs things around here.
