This could be old news to some of you regarding Mitch Daniels
But I just read in my local paper that he cashed in his IPALCO stock before the company took a beating and he isn't being investigated? Sorry if I am behind the times but I just started getting back into politics recently I have been under a rock so to speak :blush:

2. Yes. It's true.
My 97YO grandfather had stock in it and lost A BUNCH of money. I tried to tell everyone I knew during campaign time but nobody would listen!

3. I believe there was a commercial about that
before the election. Evidently those that saw it didn't care. I'm willing to bet that most people didn't pay attention.

4. There is a great article about this story
I think it was in the Progressive - asking if the IPALCO insider stock sale was Indiana's little Enron. The article came out before the Blade was campaigning for gov (it was in 2002, if I recall correctly) so he wasn't a focus of the article. But yes - he did sell off, but I don't believe he is being investigated.
