Howard Dean in Hobart....

Howard Dean will be in Hobart this month. Just wondering if anyone is going. This is from the State Party Website.

Howard Dean to speak at event in Northwest Indiana>

Don't miss your chance to hear from Democratic National Committee chair Howard Dean! The former Vermont Governor and 2004 Presidential candidate will be in Northwest Indiana on Thursday, January 26, 2006.

Dean will speak to supporters from 6-7 p.m. at the Avalon (East on U.S. 30 from I-65) in Hobart, Ind. Admission to the rally is a $50 contribution to the Indiana Democratic Party. A smaller reception will begin at 5pm for supporters at the $500 level and above.

For tickets or more information about the event, please contact the Indiana Democratic Party at 1-800-223-3387.

2. HI SALIN!

How are you? I wish I had more time to spend here. Working full time & being an activist just takes up too much time! There's a group of us going from So. Bend so I'll post some stuff after the event. I'm looking forward to it. Wish I could afford the big bucks thingie but I can't even touch it. A friend is going to it though, and maybe I'll hear from her too.

How have you been? We're gearing up in the 2nd district so I've been real busy and haven't been on line much. We have a good chance of taking the seat back for the Dems. Here's hoping.

Hope others who are able to attend post too.

I've googled The Avalon for a Mapquest and can't get anything on it ... help?
