1. Statehouse Race in District 92
We're taking down Phil "obstructionist" Hinkle and replacing him with someone who actually listens to the public. Please support Robin Olds (D) for Indiana House District 92 (western Marion County).
Phil's only claim to fame is that darned "In God We Trust" license plate; hardly puts food on the table or helps anyone in a real way.
You can learn more about Robin at her web site:
We only need two seats to take back the House, so this is important. I've had my "phil" of this jerk Hinkle, so it's time for a change in the 92nd.
Thanks for your support!

2. Liveblogging
No problem. I will be doing a little liveblogging from the JJ dinner so I'd like to know who we need to photograph and promote.

Thanks if she is there I will find her.

3. CD-08 US House Race?
It looks as if the evil John Hostettler will finally be ousted by Vanderburgh County Sheriff Brad Ellsworth.

This will be a nice pick up in November!

4. Absolutely
We've been pushing Ellsworth for months now. I'd say his chances a very good and am looking forward to seeing Hostettler go.

Another hot race is in South Bend between Chocola and Donnelly. It's very possible SB will flip to Donnelly.

Have heard both of these candidates speak and they're right on the money for Indiana.

6. The 6th Congressional district with
Barry Welsh vs Mike Pence could be very interesting. It is possible that Mike Pence could be ousted..Welsh is running a fantastic grass roots campaign. www.barrywelsh.org
Wouldn't it be something if the red state of IN becomes the swing state for control of congress!!!!

7. Not much has been said about
Dr. Hayhurst running against Mark "term limits" Souder here in the 3rd District. Hayhurst is well liked for his work on Ft. Wayne city council and for starting the health clinic, Matthew 25.

11. Ahhh...Mark Souder
The man who wanted Reagan on the dime. Who successfully re-named 469 to the Ronald Reagan Expressway or whatever that God awful name is. How much did those signs cost?

I think Hayhurst will do pretty well in the Fort Wayne and Allen County area...but it's rural Northeast Indiana and South Bend that worries me. Sadly, there are too many people in Indiana who ignore their principle and will always vote their party regardless of all of the things Souder hasn't done for us here.

12. Good news for Hayhurst
http://www.tomhayhurstforcongress.com/tom/Tom_Hayhurst/pages/TomHayhurstCongress.htm

According to the most recent financial reports each campaign filed with the Federal Election Commission, Souder has $68,359 on hand and Hayhurst has $147,759 in the bank. During the period, Hayhurst raised $50,404.

Money is considered a barometer of a campaign’s health. Two years ago, Souder spent $220,000 to win re-election against a weak Democratic opponent. Nationally, the five candidates who ousted an incumbent in November 2004 spent an average of $1.8 million.

Hey looks like Donelly, Ellsworth and Hill are doing very well. Lets keep plugging at it.

Anyone know how Sander's is doing?

8. 4th Congressional District - Sanders vs. Buyer
I met David Sanders last night in person for the first time, and I think he's got a real shot at taking back this district. He's intelligent, well-spoken and really working to support our Veterans -- and they seem to be supporting him. I like his web site <http://www.sandersforcongress.org/> and he's running a very professional campaign (and no, I don't work for him.)
He's making an appearance in Indianapolis on Tuesday night, at our Wayne Township Democrat Club meeting (Tues., 6/13 at 7 PM at the Speedway Public Library; free admission).
I would invite everyone to come out and listen to him, as I am curious if other DUers get the same really good vibe about him that I did...

9. I would say the Senate race...
But it's not cause the Democratic party choosed not to find a candidate to run againist Dick Lugar.

I say the 9th district between Baron Hill and Repuke Mike Sodrel cause remember Hill lost the race by a few hundred votes, so that race is in play.

10. District 8: Ellsworth VS Hostettler
God, I hope Ellsworth wins. I would give anything to see that smarmy fundy bastard sent packing. Especially, since his campaign tried to push poll me the other day. I chewed their ass out for it too.
