Tony Snow is coming to my town of 35,000 tomorrow.....

My Rep. Chris Chocola (IN-2nd District) must really be sweating so bad that he's trying to get a little help from his friends. It evidently wasn't enough that Laura Bush came and fundraised for him up in the northern part of the Indiana district earlier in the campaign cycle. It was announced in the local newspaper that Tony Snow is coming to speak at our tiny Memorial Center tomorrow. His numbers must be really bad to have an administration press secretary come to our rinky-dink town! We've never had anyone like this ever come here as far as I can remember.

I know the numbers are going to be bad for him here. People are just too fed up even as conservative as they are. They are upset with the Bushite Gov. Mitch Daniels with his leasing of the toll roads and the daylight Savings Time issue, along with some other things. I think many of the voters will be trying to vote against anyone that represents the Bush admin or anything connected to Mitch Daniels. But recently the Rs have quit helping Chocola with money from the party because he has enough of his own.

I wish demonstrators would come to Logansport to protest Tony Snow. Nobody here will do it because everybody knows everybody and would receive quite a backlash if they did. Personally, I don't think that many will show up to see him unless there are paid people who come here and see him. This town just isn't that active politically except for a couple of the millionaires who live here and pretty much fund our local R party. I have no idea why he's coming to a town like this.

Chocola must be behind because his ads keep getting nastier.

They headlined on the front page, top story with Tony Snow coming to town with 100 supporters attending. What made me cancel the local newspaper for the first time in my life was this. The local Dems had the JJ dinner last week with at LEAST 100 ADULTS attending and although it made the lower half of the front page, there was not a picture of our old Sen. Birch Bayh, 3-time Dem. Senator at one time. I consider this favoritism. The paper can't even honor one of Indiana's own who comes to visit in our town but they headlined Tony Snow, who worked with Rush Limbaugh and Fox News. Absolutely disgusting. I will never subscribe to our paper again.

If this area falls for Chocola one more time this time, I'm through with politics because I will know it's utterly impossible to get beyond the thick skulls I'm surrounded by. I'll always vote and try but I will not waste my time and energy.

Lport will get coverage from both Indy and SBend mediawhores for Bushco.

I think Snow actually believes his own propaganda.
