Join us on October 16th to meet the candidates (Indianapolis)
The best way to make informed voting decisions is to hear directly from the candidates. Join Indiana Equality Region 8 on October 16th to hear from the at-large candidates for the Indianapolis City-County Council.

Starting at 7:00 pm at North United Methodist Church (3808 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis), we will be joined by candidates Rozelle Boyd, Lonnell “King Ro” Conley, Ron Gibson, Michael Hegg, Barbara Malone, Joanne Sanders, and Tim Maguire.

For more information on these and other candidates for the Indianapolis City-County Council, see the IEPAC 2007 LGBT Voter Guide to Indianapolis/Marion County City-County Council.

In addition to hearing from the council candidates, the meet-up will include an update on the federal Employment Non-Discrimination Act from the Indiana Transgender Rights Advocacy Alliance (INTRAA), a look at the continuing efforts to fight-off the Marriage Discrimination Amendment (SJR-7), and a discussion about ways to improve and grow our grassroots advocacy.

Mark you calendar for Tuesday, October 16th and join us at 7:00 pm for an update on issues effecting central Indiana’s LGBT community.
