Voter registration/change of address deadline is a month away
Voter registration/change of address deadline is a month away

Monday, 10/6 is the deadline to register to vote/change your voting
address in order to vote in the 11/4 general election!

The Indiana voter registration/change of address form, accepted by all
92 counties, is online: http://www.in.gov/sos/elections/pdfs/50504.pdf

To register to vote in Indiana, you must be a citizen of the United
States, be at least 18 years old on or before 11/4/08, have lived in
your precinct at least 30 days prior to 11/4 (except for certain
military voters), and not currently be imprisoned after being
convicted of a crime.

If you have moved since the last time you voted, you must transfer
your registration to your current address (use the same application).

Do it soon! The deadline is Monday, 10/6!

"NATIONAL CHECK IF I CAN VOTE DAY
Once more, as I have said, I would love to see every liberal/progressive website, blog and organization declare October 1, 2008 NATIONAL CHECK IF I CAN VOTE DAY. That way if there are problems there is time to correct them. I would also put the Republican election officials on notice that we will be much more proactive and vigilant in protecting the integrity of the electoral process this time around."
