Omaha Global Day of Action

This is a peaceful demonstration to mourn the loss of life in Iraq since the start of the pre-emptively launched war 2 years ago. The demonstration is also an outpouring of support for our country and our troops who are fighting with the army they have, not necessarily the army they might want to have. We also stand with the entire world on March 19th to continue to express outrage about the collateral causalities resulting in an estimate of more than 100,000 Iraqi civilian deaths as well as the human rights violations that have been incurred upon the living civilian population. We are assemblying at 2 PM and will conclude at 4:30 PM March 19, 2005

Memorial Park is accessed by either walking near University of Nebraska OMAHA to 61st and Dodge Street, walking over the bridge and going a little further north to the memorial, or by going to 56th and Underwood in midtown Omaha
