Dave Loebsack will be making an appearance at the West Branch town hall this Saturday (April 9) at 5PM. Mr. Loebsack is exploring a run against Jim Leach. Mr. Loebsack is a professor of political science at Cornell and has worked for many Democrats in the second district. We are hoping to have a good turnout at this meeting.
south on 380 to 80. Go east @15 miles. Get off at the West branch exit and go north into town. Town hall is catty-corner from the Hoover info center at the stop sign or directly east across the street from the Jack'n'Jill supermarket (Northeast corner). Very friendly group. I am very interested to hear what Loebsack has to say. I've come to the conclusion that the only work Leach does now is what the Bushies tell him to do. He sure doesn't represent his district.
