RIP Emil Pavich
Emil Pavich, the patriarch of Pottawattamie County Democrats, died in his sleep last night, nine days after being sworn in to replace outgoing Council Bluffs City Council member Chad Primmer.

RIP Emil -- you were a good dude, and you'll be missed by Dems all across Iowa, myself included.

2. I'm sorry to hear this. He was a great guy .
I still have some of his coattail buttons from when he was running for state rep. he was an avid campaign button collector. RIP
