Iowa Public Radio Debate today
Curious if anyone caught this, and what your thoughts are if you did. And how does Gravel accept an invite to this debate when he has no offices or staff in Iowa. And if I hear "sabre-rattling" one more time, I might scream, thank you very little Sen. Obama.

1. I thought it was an NPR debate, not an IPR debate...Did I get that wrong?

2. It was sponsored by Iowa Public Radio,
and broadcast nationally by NPR

4. Yeah I caught most of it.
Gravel does not have any staff or anything in Iowa, but neither does Kucinich. But both are Democratic candidates for President of the USA and as such, should at least get the chance to be heard. And I sort of enjoyed the setup; no studio audience, real journalists asking questions of all the candidates, and all candidates getting a chance to speak their piece. Now if you want to ask me who "won", I'm saying Biden. That guy is about as literate as they come. But if you ask me who I'm supporting, it's Dodd. I love some of his ideas. A Progressive candidate who is virtually unknown to Iowans.

5. I will agree with a majority of your points
I honestly thought it was a tough call to say who "won". And while Gravel and Kucinich have 0-few Iowa staff, they do deserve a chance as you stated no matter. how little the support

6. It was so nice to hear real questions and real involved answers
As though one of these folks might one day have to make real decisions.
Since I am an NPR skeptic and have been so disappointed by the questions on the other "debates" I listened closely to the questions to see if NPR would continue the "gotchya" game that the other "debates" have devolved into. I was pleasantly surprised that this was a very well conducted discussion. I can't name a winner or loser only to say I was a bit disappointed by a couple of answers from Obama & Clinton.
Also, I was truly disappointed that Bill Richardson was unavailable. I believe he adds quite a bit to the whole shebang.
