This is what Iowans for tax relief(ugh!) went nuts over

Below is a table I stole from Iowa Fiscal.org (http://www.iowafiscal.org/2009docs/090327-IFP-taxreform.pdf).
The reason I am putting this out is that the the whole foofarah at the capitol yesterday appears to be over a few of the better off Iowans having to pay a wee bit more in taxes.
It continues to amaze me that the likes of Ed Failor, Jr. can stir up the masses with the word that the right wing has made totally toxic: taxes.
Please read the document. It is about 3 pages and makes total sense. I am so saddened that apparently we can no longer have a civil, intelligent conversation about the workings of society. I am saddened that the likes of Ed Failor, Jr. lead people who do little to no thinking on issues. Damn I am frustrated.
