I must admit, at first I wasn't really sold on him, although I knew he was a far sight better than Whalen. But now, Braley and I agree around 99 pct. of the time.

7. I know Harkin's on board.

I called Grassley's Washington office. I was afraid that I would lose control and start yelling, because I wanted to. The girl who answered the phone sounded so sweet. I just couldn't yell.

Harkin is sending an aide to have a townhall about healthcare and whatever in Maquoketa. I took a vacation day so I could go.

Braley is great. I wonder how his populist caucus is going?
