Every freakin' week

all year long, I get an email from the Iowa Republican Party chairman. (I wrote to every single presidential candidate of both parties back in June 07, so I ended up on some Rethug lists.)

It seems to me that once you get an email list put together, this would be a fairly low energy way to keep peoples' interest up. Why don't the Democrats in Iowa do this? I'm certain there is plenty of talent among Iowa Dems to put together an address list (I know they asked for email addresses at my caucus), and to write something to stir people up. It's not like there's any shortage of Republican lies and other outrages. Sheesh, I might even squeeze a little blood out of the turnip, er family budget, and contribute some money if they'd do something like this.

Somebody should be doing this. I get Email from the pukes all the time. (I signed up at the RNC website, because that's the only place that had Kerry's schedule on the front page. I couldn't find it on his website) Have you ever tried to find Harkin's schedule? I found it once and now I can't find anything about it.

It's so frustrating to want to show some support, but can't find out anything.

The IDP does have an Email list, they do not usually do a regular weekly message like the RPI does but they do send an email to the list once or twice a week regarding upcoming events, web videos, action alerts etc. You have to opt-in to the list though, they do not take lists from other sources (DNC, Caucus Campaigns, etc) to sign up go to http://iowademocrats.org/volunteer/email/

Because I thought I had signed up for every list I could find. I'll go try again.
