Governor Vilsack and Lieutenant Governor Pederson are retiring after honorably serving for two terms. They leave a legacy of progress and dedication to the future and betterment of every citizen of Iowa.

My vision for Iowa continues the progress that Tom Vilsack and Sally Pederson have begun. Under my administration, we will continue to fight for good jobs for every Iowan, affordable healthcare, quality education and for the best and safest communities in which to raise our families.

Yeah, I didn't declare I was a Blouin delegate, as we did not break into preference groups in my precinct.

The only thing I can think of is that I attended a little meeting with him very early in the game. It was more informal and was between Blouin and some Union leaders, but I was asked to go and did. I don't recall signing anything, but that doesn't mean I didn't!

Anyway..it looks like he is gearing up for a convention battle, that was my main point in posting. Perhaps you could get that to the Fallon guys since you are working for him...just in case he isn't aware!

Not a bad move on his staff's part, may be a good reminder to people that they are convention delegates.

If you own a large corporation who may threaten to leave Iowa if you're not given some free 'state' money to stay, Blouin is your man!

If you own a business who wants free (or tax-free) land to build on and will promise 'good-paying' jobs in exchange (but then have that promise "waived" deep w/in the paperwork signed), Blouin is your man.

If you believe that women are not intelligent enough to make their own health care decisions but need some wealthy white guy in a navy blue suit to 'help you make the right choices', Blouin is your man.

If the IDP has your email on file AND you are a county convention delegate I believe you'll get an email (not to say Tom Vilsack's Iowa Democratic Party is working for the Blouin campaign or anything like that :eyes:)
