Lakoff speaking in Ames on Sunday

George Lakoff, the author of "Don't think of an Elephant" will be speaking in Ames on Sunday. The title of the lectures is Moral Politics: How Liberals and Conservatives Think. Lakoff talks about how to frame issues to win the debates. Republicans do a great job of this with tax relief (meaning all taxes are bad), pro-life (meaning if you are against pro-life you are a murderer), the Healthy Forest Initiative, and the Clear Skies Act.
