"We all knew that. He knows that. It's time for him to own up," Gronstal said during a conference call arranged for reporters by the Blouin campaign.

House Minority Leader Pat Murphy, D-Dubuque, said he remembers meeting Culver the first week after he was sworn in as a state lawmaker in 1990.
Murphy said Culver introduced himself as the son of former U.S. Sen. John Culver and listed his clients, including IBP.

I cannot remember meeting Chet Culver - my first memory of him was at the 1997 JJ Dinner (actually his reception after the dinner), but these guys remember meeting him and knowing that the first words out of his mouth were, "I lobby for IBP".
I really, really, really like Pat Murphy. I refuse to call him a liar. So I have to take him at his word. (Gronstal, not so much....)
With the state-wide canvass that the Blouin campaign has organized this weekend, I can only assume that we will all be hearing from our legislators about how big of a liar Chet Culver is (and how he LOVES IPB).
18 days until the primary. Blouin isn't done.
