Nussle still leads in fundraising, new records show

Blouin, the state's former economic development director, reported raising $753,025 during the period, topping the $521,000 he raised from August through December last year.

The money raised this year includes loans of $100,000 each from Blouin and his running mate, Andrea McGuire

Culver spent $1.06 million this year and had $388,755 on hand, compared with Blouin, who said he spent about $700,000 and had $483,725 in the bank.

3. Yeah, but in order to get any silver they're "donating"...

...you also have to have plenty of silver (not to mention claim that you worked hard for the silver when you really just have connections).

4. Nussle Lied About Fundraising

Nussle said he raised $1 million from the Bush event, yet he only raised $1.15 million for the entire first half of the year. Eyeballing it, it looks like the most he could have raised was around six hundred thousand dollars, which was under what the campaign even initially said they hoped for (eight hundred thousand). The million dollar number was reported as fact several times in the Register.
