SDS National Convention In Chicago (August 4-7 most likely)

The last SDS convention I attended was in 1968 at Michigan State. May I wish that this year's convention is not as exciting as that one was.

2. It will hardly be as contentious

since the idea is to have a number of views represented. The main idea now is just for rad people to meet each other and exchange views and AT LONG LAST have a forum for progressive views, a nationwide forum. But it is up to the younger folks to hammer this out. I plan to try to get people there and maybe observe a bit of it myself.
