AHHH! Randi Rhodes was on KXIC tonight!

If you didn't hear it she will be on again tomorrow at 5PM on KXIC 800AM.
If you did hear it and want to say "thanks" here is an email and phone number:

I think it's amazing. And Randi is on right after that *ss Hannity, no less :evilgrin:. Everbody, tune in to AM 800 from 5 to 9pm - let's show the station owners that Iowans want to hear progressive radio!

But a word or warning-The Cubs play several night games coming up so that will mean pre-emption from time to time. And I'd be willing to bet an obscenely large amount of money that Cubs baseball brings more ad $ than AAR, at least for now. Besides, Cubs fans need our fix, even though they stink. There's always AM 1270 from Davenport for Progressive talk. I know it comes in out that way, although not in CR because I was just out there recently and was listening on the way home. Right around the West Liberty exit on I-80.

If folks in IC and CR could get WKBF we'd be listening. As it is even having an occasional Randi Rhodes show is like rain in the dessert. I get WKBF and a lot of times when I am just getting into a Majority Report the QC Swing game breaks in.
Hopefully this is only a start. Maybe in a couple years we will have a choice of progressive radio stations with a variety of hosts to listen too just like the RW.
