Saw "Inconvenient Truth" in Iowa City today
It was very good. They must have pulled the start date up a week. The one thought that kept going through my mind was "this guy should be president"

4. Eh...
Failing that, I could always walk. I walk every day to class, which is right by there. It's less than a mile away from my apartment.

5. Has "Sir, No Sir," been there yet.?
Is Campus 3 Theater in that mall? You get all the good stuff there in the People's Republic of IC.

9. Active duty army protests during VNam War.
Refusing orders. And so on. A bit of our history that has been repressed.

7. Yeah - Campus 3 in the downtown mall
The downtown mall is being taken over by the university. UofI now owns the top floor with the exception of the theaters. Only a matter of time until it's all university.

8. Well...
I guess if they couldn't get any shops up there, why not put it to good use?

10. Took my daughter to see it last night
Took my teenage daughter to see it last night. She was scared by the end of the movie. She wants to take all of her friends to see it and then have a debate about global warming and then do something to start reducing CO2 in America. Gore has assembled a lot of data to show that global warming is a problem. The pictures of the melting glaciers alone is pretty convincing. I also have to say that I have a much higher opinion of Al Gore after seeing the movie. Nobody who sees this movie is going to want to buy beach front property.

The mall where the Campus III theaters are located is being renovated for the U of I offices, so you have to jog around some stuff upstairs to get to the movie, but it was worth it. I agree with rurallib, Al Gore for President in 2008!
