1. Not 50 voters... 50 Democrats.
You can't just go register people in KS and expect things to change. Sit on the corner and register 50 people and you get 35 Repubs 8 Dem and 7 indys.

3. Actually, in recent months
I understand that voters have been registering about 2-1 Democrat here in Johnson County.

Maybe they are finally realizing that if they're a Democrat that's how they should register, and not worry about fixing the Republican party.

4. Registration
Too late for this primary cycle....but my father-in-law has been re-registering teachers, etc as REPUBS so they can vote in the primary.

This was a major force in 2002 in Shari Weber losing to Bill Kassebaum and will be critical again this year. A moderate like Kassebaum is WAY better than a wingnut.

5. I wish Democrats here in Kansas wouldn't take it
upon themselves to try to reform the Republican party. If you're a Democrat, register as one, and don't worry so hard about trying to influence their primaries. Instead, make sure there's a Democrat in every race out there.

Let those idiots put up all the right-wingers they want. If we have good Democrats running, we'll beat them every time. I mean, really, I'm so incredibly sick of hearing RINO's defend voting for Republicans.

All we need is something like two or three more Dems in the Kansas State House and there would be an additional Democrat on every single committee. Wouldn't that be a lot better than once again re-electing a Republican?

6. we need ONE more Dem in the House to get the extra
seat on every committee. We need 6 more Dems to get 2 seats more on every committee.
