I wanted to post it here but could not figure out how to title it so it would last past the front page!

Hell of a day and that one just made me lose it, I could not even respond well, I was sitting here sputtering and wondering why I had to deal with this shit here on DU.

Oh well, we work and we work and there is nothing much to show for it but we will keep it up because there is nothing more stubborn than an angry, progressive, liberal Kansan.

9. Settled, but missing Kansas.

I do miss my friends and kids, but have already had visits by both. We'll be back in town for Thanksgiving for about a week. I'm adjusting, and so is my better half. He's been out of town a lot, so it gets kind of lonely. I'm starting to meet new people, but have spent most of my time at the veterinarian with my allergic kitty and soon-to-be-bred-again golden retriever. Hey, the weather's been great here, if nothing else! If you're ever out this way, let me know. I'm always up for guests!:hug:

10. Funny,

Proud2Blib and I drove to Crawford this summer so we were probably very close. I wish I had thought about it. I was through there the next week with my husband on the way back to Crawford. Too bad, we could have at least met for lunch.
