Posted as an FYI, in case anyone wants to attend. This is a fundraiser for Missy Taylor, who's running for the Kansas House.

Dennis Moore will be there, not that it's a huge thrill or anything.

1. Any more info on Missy Taylor?
What district? PV?

Hey I wonder if Dennis Moore got my message about the delay for DeLay? I left him a voice mail AND sent him an email.

2. Missy ran last time
She was also my alternate at the National Convention, this means she was a Dean delegate. She's involved with the educational pac and I got to celebrate with Missy in D.C. when the Kansas court made their order concerning educational funding in Kansas. I'm sorry I'm being so vague on details but don't worry she's a Democratic (with a capital "D") candidate.

She's a good person and I fully support her candidacy.

3. More info
Last time Missy ran for State Representative from the 25th District

She's active in Families for United Public Education (the group she was with when I saw her in D.C. at the "Take Back America" conference).

Here's some info that was posted about her in the last cycle:

Missy Taylor for Kansas House of Representatives. As a retired teacher and NEA member, Missy Taylor's first priority is a just finance plan that will fund an excellent education in all Kansas schools. Democrats need to outwork the Republicans in this district and the Taylor campaign needs volunteers to help register new voters this summer. http://www.blogforamerica.com/archives/004608.html

4. My mom and sister are in her district
I am in the 24th district.

She can count on two votes from my family.
